Jujutsu Kaisen follows a group of students at Tokyo Jujutsu High, an unusual school where they learn to keep curses in check, invisible threats born from negative emotions. What hooks people is how different the characters are when they share a classroom. Yuji Itadori signs up for everything, Megumi Fushiguro thinks everything through twice, Nobara Kugisaki never lets anyone walk over her, and their teacher Satoru Gojo takes life with a calm that throws people off. Nanami, Maki, Inumaki and Todo round out a cast where it is easy to find yourself.

This quiz does not ask about techniques or the plot, and you can take it without having watched the anime. Question 1 It is your first day at a new school, which here is Tokyo Jujutsu High. How do you introduce yourself?

Question 3 Training is first thing in the morning. How do you take it?

You show up on time, do what is planned with method and, when it is time to stop, you stop.
You train at your own pace without talking much and, if you see someone stuck, you lend a hand with a small gesture.
With energy to spare. You join every exercise and cheer on the others even if they are half asleep.
You arrive before anyone else and repeat each exercise until it comes out the way you want.

Question 4 You have a free day in Tokyo with your group of friends. What plan do you suggest?

Going to a concert by your favorite band so everyone finds out why it is so worth seeing.
A tour of pastry shops, no rush, trying every dessert along the way.
A movie afternoon at someone's place, with popcorn and a harmless prank or two.
Shopping in the trendy neighborhoods and coming home with something new to wear the next day.

Question 5 The group has to make an important decision and time is short. What role do you take?

You go over the options in silence and propose the most sensible one, even if it is not the most popular.
You step up front and push ahead. You trust your preparation and the team's.
You say little, but you find the right word at the right moment so that everyone agrees.
You set clear priorities, hand out tasks and rule out any risk that is not necessary.

Question 6 Someone in your group has been down for a few days. How do you help?

You give a rousing speech at the top of your lungs and remind them that to you they are like family.
You sit beside them and listen as long as it takes, without checking the clock.
You do not say much, but you take care of something practical that lifts a weight off them.
You leave something to eat on their table with a thoughtful touch. You know they will get the message.

Question 7 You are given a group project for class. What role do you end up with?

You defend your idea tooth and nail and volunteer to present it in front of the whole class.

Question 9 Someone tells you that you are not cut out for something that matters a lot to you. How do you react?

Question 13 A friend makes a mistake that affects everyone. How do you act?

You play it down, clap them on the back and help them fix it.
You ask them to fix it themselves, because you know they can do much better.
You talk to them in private and say things plainly, without making a scene in front of the others.
You propose a concrete solution and a way to keep it from happening again. Looking for someone to blame fixes nothing.

Question 14 How would your friends describe the way you talk?

Joking and a little provocative. You love teasing people affectionately.

How this character test works

The quiz measures personality fit, not knowledge of the series. Each option is tied to one or two characters and adds points to them according to the trait it expresses, such as empathy, reflection, self-assurance, boldness, responsibility, perseverance, discretion or passion. All eight characters appear the same number of times across the questions, so none starts with an edge. At the end your points are added up and the character with the highest score is yours. If two finish very close, you have plenty of both in you, which is quite common.

Yuji Itadori

If you got Yuji Itadori, you are one of those people who put everyone at ease from the first minute. You have plenty of energy, you join in on almost anything and it comes naturally to you to take the side of whoever is having the hardest time. You do not need big speeches to help, because your thing is being there and lending a hand without being asked. Sometimes you act before you think and carry more responsibility than is yours, because saying no is hard when someone needs you. Your good mood is not naive at all. Megumi Fushiguro

How many questions does the Jujutsu Kaisen quiz have?

It has sixteen questions with four answers each and takes a few minutes to finish. They all describe everyday or group situations, such as a training session, a class project or a free day with friends. The more honest your answers, the closer the result will be to who you really are.

Which characters can I get?

You can get Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki or Aoi Todo. We picked students and teachers from the jujutsu schools because their personalities are strong and easy to spot in everyday life.

Do I need to have watched the anime to take the quiz?

No. The quiz has no memory questions about the story and does not assume you know the characters. If you have not seen the series, the result still works as a portrait of your personality, and if you know it, recognizing yourself in it will be more fun.

How do I find out which Jujutsu Kaisen character I am?

Each answer adds points to one or two characters according to the trait it reflects. At the end everything is added up and your result is the character with the most points. The cast is balanced, so all eight have the same chance of coming up if you answer with some variety.

Can I retake the quiz if I do not like my result?

Yes, as many times as you like. It is normal for the result to change if you answer thinking of another setting, such as your classes, your job or your group of friends. If two characters often come up tied, you most likely share clear traits with both.

Is this an official Jujutsu Kaisen quiz?

No. It is an entertainment quiz made by fans and has no connection with Gege Akutami, the author of the manga, or with Shueisha, MAPPA or Crunchyroll. We use the characters to describe personality traits in a friendly way, without spoiling anything from the story.
