Which My Hero Academia Character Are You? Take the Quiz

My Hero Academia is set in a world where almost everyone is born with a Quirk, a special ability that ranges from floating to making ice. There, being a hero is a profession with its own exams and internships, and the U.A. academy is the school everyone dreams of getting into. The series, known in Japan as Boku no Hero Academia, follows Class 1-A. Izuku Midoriya analyzes everything, Katsuki Bakugo competes at whatever he does, Shoto Todoroki says little and Ochaco Uraraka spreads her good mood to anyone nearby.

This My Hero Academia quiz does not ask about powers or specific chapters, and you can take it even if you have not seen the anime. It poses school and group situations set at the academy, such as a practical exam, the sports festival, an internship at a hero agency or a classmate going through a rough patch. From your answers it works out which character you resemble in the way you are, among seven students and one teacher.

Answer the sixteen questions thinking about what you would really do, not about the character you hope to get. When you finish you will have an answer to the question everyone asks: Which My Hero Academia character are you? You will read what that result says about how you study, compete and treat other people, and see which other characters came out close.

How this character test works

The quiz does not measure what you know about the anime, but how you react in everyday classroom and team situations. Each answer adds points to one or two characters according to the trait it reflects, be it analytical curiosity, ambition, calm, warmth, a sense of duty, loyalty, quiet candor or pragmatism. All eight characters appear the same number of times and can collect the same points, so none starts with an advantage. At the end your points are added up and you get the character with the highest score. If two come out very close, you share traits with both.

Characters you can get

Izuku Midoriya (Deku)

If you got Izuku Midoriya, you are someone who watches before acting and turns anything into a chance to learn. You notice how others work, jot down what catches your eye and keep turning it over until you land on a solution nobody else had thought of. You find it harder to believe in yourself than in other people, and sometimes you get lost in your own reasoning or demand more of yourself than you should. What defines you is that you leave no one behind. When someone needs help, you act before working out what it will cost you, and that persistence ends up encouraging the people around you to take one more step.

Katsuki Bakugo

If you got Katsuki Bakugo, you have an ambition that is not satisfied with doing well, because you want to do better than anyone. You set high goals, train while others rest and cannot stand winning if you suspect someone let you. You say what you think without frills, and that bluntness sometimes sounds harsher than you intend, especially under pressure. Learning to temper your tone is your homework. Behind all that demand is someone who takes their word seriously and who acknowledges other people's talent, even if saying so costs them. When the group needs someone who won't give up, it knows where to find you.

Shoto Todoroki

If you got Shoto Todoroki, you are a reserved person who thinks a good deal more than you say. You stay calm when everyone else speeds up and prefer to decide on your own, after turning things over as long as they need. Some people mistake your silence for coldness, but those who know you realize you are honest to the point of disarming anyone and that you take the people who matter to you very seriously. It is hard for you to ask for help and open up, and you often work out what you really want bit by bit. Once it is clear, you move forward with a quiet firmness that rubs off on whoever works beside you.

Ochaco Uraraka

If you got Ochaco Uraraka, you have your feet on the ground and a cheerfulness people notice the moment you walk into a room. You know why you do what you do, and that reason usually has to do with the people you love, not with applause or fame. You are practical, adapt to whatever comes and don't mind starting from the bottom if it brings you closer to your goal. Sometimes you keep your feelings to yourself so as not to worry anyone, and sharing them more often would do you good. When someone in the group wavers, you are the one who reminds them what they are worth, and when it's time to work hard you surprise yourself with how far you can go.

Tenya Iida

If you got Tenya Iida, your sense of responsibility shows in everything you do. You like things in order, you arrive on time, you keep your promises, and organizing the group comes naturally whenever nobody else steps up. Some people find you too formal or rigid, and it is true that you struggle to improvise when the plan goes sideways. It is also true that you can admit a mistake and correct course without pride getting in the way, something not everyone manages. Your classmates know that with you the rules apply equally to everybody and that, if they ask for help, you get involved with a seriousness that inspires trust from the first moment.

Eijiro Kirishima

If you got Eijiro Kirishima, loyalty is your way of being with others. You side with your friends without asking for explanations, celebrate their wins as if they were yours and speak up when it's time to step forward. Your enthusiasm lifts the mood of any group, and you have the uncommon courage to admit your insecurities without feeling ashamed of them. At times you compare yourself with people who seem to shine more and forget everything you bring. Your thing is the persistence of someone who gets back up again and again with a smile, and who makes the people beside them want to get up and keep trying too.

Tsuyu Asui

If you got Tsuyu Asui, you say what you think with a calm that disarms. You don't like beating around the bush, but you don't mean to bother anyone either, because for you speaking plainly is a form of respect. You stay calm when everything gets complicated, observe before giving an opinion and often see simply what others tangle up. Your frankness sometimes catches off guard whoever expected a softer answer, and it is hard for you to put into words what truly worries you. Your friends know they can talk to you about anything and that, if something goes wrong, you will say it to their face and then stay by their side to help fix it.

Shota Aizawa

If you got Shota Aizawa, you are a pragmatic person who doesn't waste energy on what serves no purpose. You prefer few, well-chosen words, get to the point and care about results more than appearances. You can seem distant or demanding, and it's true you don't hand out praise, but when you trust someone you show it with actions and push them to give their best. You find it hard to hide your fatigue with empty formalities and sometimes forget that other people benefit from a kind word. Whoever works with you ends up discovering that your strictness hides a real commitment to their growing and going far.

No. It is an entertainment quiz made by fans of the series, with no connection to Kohei Horikoshi, author of the manga, or to Shueisha or Studio Bones. The character names are used only as a reference, and the result is a lighthearted portrait of who you are, not a psychological assessment.

Does the quiz spoil anything about the story?

No. Neither the questions nor the result descriptions reveal plot twists or the manga's ending. The characters are described by their personality as presented at the start of the series, so you can take the quiz with peace of mind even if you're only in the first chapters.
